I am a 1997 graduate of Moshannon Valley High School.  I attended Lock Haven University and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education.  I received a Master's in Education from Saint Francis University in 2005.  I was a teacher with the CIU 10 for five years before starting at Moshannon Valley in March of 2008 as a special education teacher. 

 On October 15th, 2005 I married Todd Smeal.  Todd and I both attended Moshannon Valley School District.  He is a supervisor at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Woodland.  Who knew that I would someday be teaching at the school district that I graduated from! 

This year I will be co-teaching with: Mr. Wulderk, Mrs. Cover, Mr. Lewis and the new math teacher. 

My son Isaac. He will be 2 on Dec. 8.
