MRS. BUELL'S HOME PAGE

My name is Kristie Buell. I have been at MoValley since 1999.  I am an active member of the Black Knights Marching Band, where I serve as Band Assistant.  I was married in 2001 to Robert Buell.  I have six cats.  They are Booger, Boots, Buddy, Calie, Divot, and Slick.  I got Honey in September 2008.  She is a Boxer mix and a wonderful dog.  I enjoy skiing, walking, motorcycles, boating,  and spending time with family.  UPDATE!!!! I recently adopted a stray Golden Retriever Lab mix.  Her name is Leia.  She is a beautiful dog. I received my Bachelor's of Arts in History and Bachelor's of  Science in Education in 1998 from Bloomsburg University.  I also obtained a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State Dubois in 2005. I enjoy History.  History is important to our society because we are actively taking part it in everyday.  Students need to understand the importance of History on our PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE. In 8th grade, students need to start thinking about their future.  What do I want to be when I grow up?  Students need to explore their interests in life to determine a pathway to success.
