BACKGROUND: I graduated from Moshannon Valley in 1969 and received a degree in Secondary Education, Biology, (may teach biology / life science in grades 7-12) from Clarion State College in 1973. Upon graduating from college, I entered the United States Marine Corps where I served for twenty years. After I retired from the Marine Corps, our family relocated from Jacksonville, N.C. to Ramey. Both of our sons graduated from MoValley. My wife, Mary Kay, and I have six wonderful grandchildren.

Since I have been teaching at Moshannon Valley, I have achieved additional certifications in Business, Computer and Information Technology (K-12) and Driver / Safety Education (7-12).
