512 Advanced Web Design----1 Credit
Advanced Web Site Design is a yearlong course designed as an elective for juniors and seniors. This course quickly reviews HTML, and then proceeds to Dreamweaver, PhotoShop and Flash. Students will do text and classroom work in addition to peer group activities and independent projects. Students typically develop one Web Site per marking period. Students taking this course should have passed Intro to Web Design and the Intro to Computer Applications course. Starting with the second marking period, students will also be responsible for assisting in maintaining the School District’s Web Site. Part of the assigned grade will be a direct reflection of this effort. Final Project is worth 60% of the fourth marking period grade.
