Moshannon Valley Title I identifies those students in greatest need of special assistance to participate in the Title I program based on classroom teacher recommendation and assessments indicating the children's educational needs.

The student then enters a program which is developed to add to regular classroom instruction, involve parents in the education process, measure progress, and set goals for improvement. Each year the success of the program is reviewed and adjustments are made.

Title I teachers and the classroom teachers work closely together to help children succeed in regular educational programs and to meet the state standards of performance.
