• There are many ways to support the Moshannon Valley Community Education Foundation.  Donations can be made via monetary contributions, bequests, memorial contributions, endowments, gifts and volunteering.  With your efforts since 2012, the Foundation has awarded over $30,000 in educational-related funding, through teacher grants and scholarships, to the faculty and students of Moshannon Valley!
Whenever an individual, company, group, or charitable organization decides to make a contribution, bequest, or transfer of assets to the Foundation it will be considered tax deductible.  The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization which means any financial gift will be tax-deductible in the year the donation is made.  Contributions are deductible under section 170 of the Code.  Bequests, devises, transfers or gifts are tax deductible under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
Any EITC-participating businesses who donate fall within the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program and are eligible for a tax credit equal to 75% of the financial donation.
