One winner will receive a $500 scholarship to be used for continuing business education.

 Clearfield Co Chapter of PA Association of School Retirees Scholarship

Rotates form school to school each year. Last given to a MoValley student in 2016.

PA Association of Medical Suppliers(PAMS)

 The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize students who have been successful in their academic pursuits while overcoming their physical challenges with the help of home medical equipment such as wheelchairs, respiratory devices, diabetes devices asthma devices ect.

Keno Beezer Memorial

Moshannon Valley Knight Booster Club

$1,000.00 to one boy and $1,000.00 to one girl. For athletes only based 50%  GPA 40% Athletic Achievement 10% Community Service.

Clearfield County Counselors Association.

$350.00 one time award to student who plans to pursue a career in the helping professions such as counseling, psychology, social work, nursing or teaching.  Essay required.  Community service also required.

Fullington Service Awards

$1000.00  one time award. GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must be accepted to accredited college or technical school.  Must have sound attendance, must be active in two or more extracurricular  activities with one being related to arts or athletics, demonstrate community service, and would not qualify for other awards.  Use the Local Scholarship Packet to apply.

Gerald Solensky Educational Memorial Scholarship 

$1000.00 (or possibly more) one time award.  Special or Elementary Education Major preferred but can go to other majors as well.  Applications and details available in Guidance.

Gladys Tozier Memorial Scholarship

1000.00 for each semester.  Need income tax returns, letter of acceptance from college you are attending, must fill out application.  See Guidance for more details

 First Commonwealth Bank

 This award is available to any student with a 85% or better.  Requires an essay.   

Future Nurses

$1,000.00 one time award. Must be pursuing a BS in nursing.  Application in Guidance or online Future Nurse Scholarship

W. O. Gulbranson

Up to $1,00.00 per year.  Open to any student enrolled in a 2 or 4 yr. college.

Lady Damsel Soccer Club Scholarship

$100.00 to two or $200.00 to one soccer player.  Must have played soccer in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.

Les Edmondson Scholarship

Must be an athlete, must be enrolled or accepted in a 4 year college or an accredited technical college or institute.  Must submit an essay that describes how involvement in sports has positively affected your life or how a coach has positively affected your life.  Complete details and application in guidance.

Hiller Family Memorial Scholarship

$2,000.00 one time award to  any senior who will be attending a post secondary institution.   Use the Local Scholarship Packet to apply.

Harold E. Zulick Scholarship Sponsored by Moshannon Valley Rotary Club

$500.00 one time award. Must plan to attend  two or four year accredited college or technical school, demonstrate financial need, and have GPA of less than 95% and essay explaining Rotary Theme "Service Above Self". Applications in Guidance

Houtzdale American Legion Ladies Auxilary

$100.00 award to be given to a Senior who demonstrates involvement in community service and volunteer work in the Moshannon Valley area

Morann Citizens Club Scholarship

Two $500.00 scholarships.  One for student entering Military and one for student entering technical school.  Notify Guidance in writing if interested

Mary Wise Memorial Scholarship

one time award $1000.00 to one or $500.00 to two students who are pursing a teaching degree.  Use the Local Scholarship Packet to apply.
