Mrs. O’Hare, our Superintendent, stopped by Mrs. Buell’s classes this week to share her inspiring story of working hard from the very beginning. 💪📘 Her driven work ethic and dedication to teamwork remind our students that success comes from effort, collaboration, and passion. 🤝✨

She shared examples of being hands-on throughout the district—from helping the lunch ladies judge fun contests in the Elementary building 🍽️🏆 to supporting programs across all grade levels. Mrs. O’Hare also encouraged students by sharing her own journey as she pursues her Doctorate at Saint Francis University. 🎓📚

We are grateful for her leadership and for taking the time to inspire our students! ✨👏💛

Our incredible MV Plunge Club won the YMCA’s “Cool School Challenge” at the Polar Bear Plunge at Black Moshannon State Park on Saturday, December 6!
Together, the club raised an amazing $675 for the YMCA’s Open Door and Anti-Hunger Programs. 💙

A huge shoutout to all the brave participants who took on the cold, icy water—your spirit, courage, and willingness to freeze for a cause is truly inspiring! ❄️✨
Behind the scenes, this team showed that when students unite and put in the work, great things happen!

🎄✨ Our Skills of Life students had a wonderful time getting into the holiday spirit! They were given the choice to help decorate our classroom tree or sort books… and decorating the tree was the clear winner!

While trimming the tree, students practiced fine motor skills, sorted ornaments, and worked together to make the tree their very own. ❤️💚

We love watching their creativity shine!

Kindergarten was full of BIG creativity yesterday! 🎨✨ After a read-aloud of Balloons Over Broadway 🎈📚—the story behind the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade 🎉🦃—our little learners designed their very own “balloons”! 😍🎈 They proudly marched through the halls in a mini parade 👣🏫 showing off their adorable creations to staff! 🎊💛 So much laughter, color, and Thanksgiving fun! 🍁🦃🎈💕
