The Moshannon Valley Spring Art Show will be happening in the HS Gymnasium this evening starting at 7:00 PM. The artwork will showcase both elementary and high school projects. Thank you to the roughly 21 businesses who supported the CCCTC Co-op program providing opportunities for Clearfield County students to gain valuable work experience in their chosen career field. Instructors appreciate the opportunities provided supporting reading achievement and equity for participating classroom libraries. These texts will enhance the love of reading as well as increase student learning across the content areas in grades K-12.

Mrs. Nagle, Mr. Brown, and Mrs. Buell have been supporting one another in their peer observations and co-teaching lessons throughout the school year. Here they are supporting students with annotating and writing DBQs (Document Based Questions).





Miss Tekely's 4th grade classes investigated the sustainability of an aquaponics system and visited the HS aquaponics lab to explore the conditions needed for plants and fish to survive and support one another. They worked collaboratively and even tested pH levels. Well done!









The Varsity Baseball Team will play at Williamsburg on Monday 5/20 at 4PM in the first round of the District 6 Class A playoffs.

The 6th Grade students did an outstanding job at the School Board vs 6th Grade Challenge. They handled the difficult questions the Board Members asked & for their victory the 6th graders win ice cream purchased by the Board. Way to go 6th grade! #MVProud #MVBetterTogether




Congratulations to Mr. Zeak for being our Mind Wellness Challenge Winner! His grand prize is a digital photo frame which aligned to this year's theme of gratitude. This challenge was done in collaboration with Mrs. Whitney Ferguson from CIU 10 and the prize was provided through the CIU 10 Consortium Fund. Thank you to all the staff who participated!

Mrs. Abernethy's 8th grade students recently created stories based on acid mine drainage and water pollution that were geared toward elementary students. 3D learning going on in Mrs. Hook's 4th grade classes! Students calculated the perimeter and area of 2D shapes. Then they calculated the volume of 3D shapes like this rectangular prism!



The 6th graders celebrated the end of their elementary journey Friday evening by attending the annual 6th grade dance. The theme selected by the class was "Neon Nights." They played games, danced, and got pics in the Photo Booth to remember the night. 🟣🟢🟡
