⛏️🍪 Our 10th graders went from 📖 book study on early coal mining to a hands-on Cookie Mining Lab!
They learned about 🛠️ mining tools, compared 🍪 "hard coal" & "soft coal", and even tried their hand at 🌱 reclamation by restoring the “land” after mining.
Such a fun (and tasty!) way to dig into history while learning about the challenges of coal mining! ⚒️🌍✨
