Sixth Grade students studying "Christmas in France" recently heard a presentation from MVHS French Instructor, Ms. Laura Nearhood and French III students, Alexis Passmore, Abbie Twoey, and Akira Waugh. They gave an overview of holiday celebrations in France and what taking French as a future MVHS student will be like. Joyeux Noel!

Mrs. DelPonte spoke to 3rd Grade students about "Christmas in Italy" as she lived in Italy as a child. She wanted to be a reading teacher and help children because of her journey to learn English herself.



Today, Horace Mann representative, George Pry, presented the $1,000 Check to Dr. Zesiger for winning the 2023 PASA Service to Profession Award. Funds will be given to the community education foundation to fund two $500 scholarships for students pursuing a career in education.

The Moshannon Valley School District would like to cordially invite you to our first annual Winter Arts Showcase on Wednesday, December 6, at the High School Auditorium. The program will feature Art Exhibits from our Elementary, Jr., and Sr. High Art programs, and performances by Elementary, Jr. and Sr. High Bands and Choirs. There will also be a gift basket raffle that will benefit the Art and Music Departments.
The Art program starts at 5:30pm, and the Music Performances start at 6:30pm. Suggested donation for admission are canned food items that will be donated to the Houtzdale Food Pantry.
