Great job to these talented students for showcasing their creativity, design skills, and patriotic spirit! 🇺🇸🌿

Lauren recently hosted a chicken dinner fundraiser and donated the proceeds to the Moshannon Valley FFA and Clearfield FFA Chapters. Each chapter received an amazing $1,500 donation! 💙💛
Today, Queen Lauren presented the check to Ms. Lang, Saige Hamer (MoValley FFA President), and Mrs. O’Hare. Thanks to this generous contribution, FFA members will have opportunities to attend leadership events, build new skills, and continue growing as future leaders in agriculture and our communities. 🌾🐄🚜

Our very own Moshannon Valley High School Biology/Anatomy teacher, Mr. Hunter Horning, wanted to share some exciting opportunities available through the Elk Country Visitor Center in Benezette! Before joining Mo Valley, Mr. Horning worked there as the Conservation Education Specialist. 🐾
The center offers a variety of educational programs, summer camps, and educator workshops for both students and teachers! Opportunities include:
🦌 One-day Summer Elk Camp for students ages 8–12
🌿 One-day Summer Camp for students ages 13–17
📚 Educator Workshop worth 6.0 Act 48 Hours
🍃 Additional Educator Workshop worth 6.0 Act 48 Hours
These programs are great enrichment opportunities for students and a wonderful way for educators to earn Act 48 hours while learning more about Pennsylvania wildlife and conservation!
Check out the attached information for more details! 🖤💛

We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and dedication throughout the school year to help capture so many unforgettable memories for our students and staff. 🖤💛

Thank you, Mel, for taking the time to speak with our students and inspire them with your experiences, generosity, and passion for your work and community!

Congratulations to Mr. Hunter Horning on achieving his Level I Certification in Biology! 🧪👏
Prior to earning his Level I Certification, Mr. Horning taught under an Intern Certificate while completing the requirements needed to become fully certified in Pennsylvania.
An Intern Certificate is a professional teaching certificate issued to individuals who have graduated from an accredited four-year college or university and are actively completing a state-approved teacher preparation program. Candidates must pass the required content area test prior to admission into the program and continue coursework while serving in the classroom. The certificate is valid for up to three years of service and cannot be renewed.
Achieving Level I Certification is an important professional milestone that reflects Mr. Horning’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to education and our students. 🍎📚
We are proud to have Mr. Horning as part of the Mo Valley team and congratulate him on this accomplishment! 💛🖤

🐄🍦 Our First Grade students enjoyed a beautiful day at Vale Wood Farms learning all about the journey of milk — from the cow to delicious dairy products like the ice cream they got to taste!
Students explored the entire process during this fun and educational “From Moo to You” field trip and had a wonderful hands-on learning experience.
A huge THANK YOU to our PTO for sponsoring this memorable trip for our students! 💛🖤
