Students in Ms. Buell’s class recently welcomed Jenna Witherite, Adult Education Coordinator from IU10, who spoke about careers in education and the many opportunities available both inside and outside of the traditional classroom.
Jenna also shared information about adult education programs and GED testing, explaining how IU10 helps individuals in our community earn their high school equivalency and continue their education or career pathways.
It was a great opportunity for students to learn about how education supports learners of all ages and the many ways professionals can make a difference in their communities. Thank you, Jenna, for visiting and sharing your knowledge with our students! 📚✨

Our elementary cafeteria has been magically transformed into the Hundred Acre Wood for Read Across America Week — and it is sweeter than a jar of honey! 💛
From Rabbit’s Garden 🥕 to Pooh Bear’s House 🐻, Piglet’s Home 🐷, Eeyore’s Gloomy Place 💙, and even Kanga & Roo’s Strengthening Potion 🦘 — every corner is bringing the storybook to life!
Students are stepping into the pages of Winnie the Pooh while enjoying lunch in the most whimsical woodland setting. And don’t forget to guess how many honeycombs are in the jar for a chance to win a prize! 🍯🐝
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing cafeteria staff for turning mealtime into a magical reading adventure. 📚✨ You’ve truly made the 100 Acre Woods come alive at Mo Valley!

We look forward to seeing everyone a little later!
Stay warm, Knights & Damsels! 💛🖤

Students spilled ALL the tea on the cafeteria menu — the must-keeps, the “maybe not again…”, and the please bring this back ASAP items 😂
⭐ Main event: a taste test of the NEW Blueberry Cheesecake Parfait…
Result? Instant fan club. Absolute 10/10 YUM 😋🫐🍰
But it didn’t stop there — students also pitched some seriously great meal ideas we can’t wait to try out!

Our fearless Polar Bear Plunge team took the icy challenge and brought the hardware back to the Knights! 🐻❄️💙
Not only did they brave the freezing water, they also warmed hearts by raising $775 for the YMCA Anti-Hunger Program! 🍽️❤️
Cold water. Big courage. Even bigger impact.
