💻 SKYWARD
Skyward is open! Elementary families can view homeroom teachers and bus schedules. Jr./Sr. High students can view class schedules. Schedule change requests must be submitted using the Google Form sent to students' school email.

Please save our new main number: 814-378-1900.

We encourage families to save it in their contacts as Moshannon Valley School District and check their phone settings to make sure the number is not marked or blocked as SPAM. This will help ensure you don't miss important calls from the District.

🚌 TRANSPORTATION
All students will be assigned one consistent morning bus stop and one consistent afternoon bus stop.

Please review your child's bus information in Skyward. If you notice an error or need a correction, email transportation@movalley.org as soon as possible. Include your student's full name, grade, and requested correction.

📱 ELEMENTARY PIKMYKID
Elementary families will use PikMyKid for dismissal.

Before school:
• Download the FREE PikMyKid app.
• Register using the same email and phone number the school has on file.
• Verify your child's name appears in the app.

Morning Drop-Off: 7:55–8:10 AM. PikMyKid is not needed. Pull into a numbered spot and remain in your vehicle.

Afternoon Pick-Up: Begins at 2:50 PM. Dismissal changes must be entered in PikMyKid before 2:30 PM.

At pick-up, follow signs to the Parent Pick-Up Line, use the furthest available numbered spot, remain in your vehicle, announce your arrival in the app, and display your child's PikMyKid number.

🎒 BACKPACK REQUIREMENT
Backpacks must be fully clear (transparent plastic/vinyl) OR made entirely of mesh material.

This applies to all students from the moment they arrive on school grounds each morning.

🍎 FREE BREAKFAST & LUNCH
Every student receives FREE breakfast AND lunch every school day — no application or paperwork required!

Students in Grades 4–12 may purchase à la carte items with a positive SchoolCafé balance.

💳 SCHOOLCAFÉ
SchoolCafé allows families to add money, review purchases, check balances, and set low-balance alerts or automatic payments. Please see the attached SchoolCafé Parent Instructions for registration and payment information.

🩺 MEASLES INFORMATION
Pennsylvania is experiencing an increase in measles cases. Families are encouraged to check their child's records to make sure their MMR vaccination is up to date. If your child is behind schedule, please contact your healthcare provider.

Symptoms may include high fever, cough, runny nose, red/watery eyes, followed by a red rash that usually begins on the face and spreads down the body.

If your child develops symptoms, keep them home, call your healthcare provider before visiting in person, and notify the school nurse.

In the event of a confirmed case, the District will work with the PA Department of Health. Students/staff without proof of immunity may be excluded from school following an exposure in accordance with state health guidance.

🌭 BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH UPDATE! 🌭

We have some exciting news! Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community sponsors, we are now able to offer a FREE dinner for our students and their families during our Back-to-School Bash! 💛🖤

Join us on Thursday, August 20, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. outside the elementary school on the soccer field for an afternoon of fun, connection, and getting ready for the new school year!

🍽️ FREE Dinner will be available throughout the event from 3:00–6:00 p.m., so families can enjoy a meal whenever it works best for them!

Dinner will include:
