💛🐣 Mrs. Pierce’s My Skills for Life students assembled Easter baskets to donate to children in hospitals through Easter for Eli, a nonprofit created in memory of Elias Garrett, who lost his battle with cancer just days before his 4th birthday.

This week, our students got a hands-on look at the amazing world of agriculture!
📚 On Monday, we welcomed presenters from several local farms who shared their knowledge and read this year’s featured story, All About Farms. A big thank you to:

Students learned about the many important jobs it takes to keep a farm running and even tested their knowledge by sorting items based on where they come from! 🚜🥚🌾
🥕 On Thursday, the YMCA partnered with Rustic Ridge Farm to provide every elementary student with a bag of fresh goodies to take home, including potatoes, onions, oranges, apples, and Nutri-Grain bars. What a treat! 🍎
🐣 And the excitement didn’t stop there… After beginning our incubation project on March 4, we are thrilled to share that our very first chick hatched on March 25!
