Congratulations to our 5️⃣ Moshannon Valley teams that took part in the K’nex STEM Competition today!
In the Grades 4-5 age group, “The Mustard Kids” took 2nd place🥈, and “The Five Tiers Tower” won “Best in Show” and 1st place🥇 !! In the Grades 6-8 division, “The Ultra Bridge Builders” also won “Best in Show” and first place🥇!
Our two first place teams advance to the state competition in Harrisburg in May!

Students in the Welding and Metal Fabrication program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) recently earned their Welder Performance Qualifications, meeting the standards of the AWS D1.1/D1.1M:2020 Structural Welding Code for steel. Their certifications include Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) with limited thickness in the flat, horizontal, and vertical position. CCCTC is proud to highlight all of our students' accomplishments and celebrate their hard work and dedication to their craft. Additionally, one student achieved certification in Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).

Ms. Kane-Degma's 4th grade art class followed a multi-step process to complete a Starry Night Cityscape. They learned the difference between a landscape and a cityscape.🌃

Tonight is the opening night for Moshannon Valley's Drama Club performance of Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief! ⚡The cast is made up of 33 students in grades 7-12 and we couldn't be more excited to showcase all of their hard work and dedication!
The show will be held tonight and Saturday, starting at 7 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door, $10 for adults and $5 for students. We hope to see you there! #MVOneTeam


Kindergarteners recently completed self-portraits to portray themselves as artists after being inspired by Karen Katz's book "The Colors of Us" while in art class. 👨🎨


Third graders recently created a Winter Wonderland Snow Globe inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s famous “Starry Night” painting combined with wind, swirls, and cosmic stars. ❄️
